You may have noticed that Rulefinder is looking a little different. We’ve refreshed our colours and logo to make the connection with HPiVS clearer. Behind this increasingly capable platform is the technical expertise you expect from HPiVS, helping you access and understand standards and regulations across multiple industries.

Rulefinder continues to expand its content and functionality, giving you access to essential legislation and standards, with supporting notes and associated documentation embedded within each standard so you can read them in context. We’re also offering a 30% discount on additional user subscriptions within the same company domain, making it easier to give colleagues access to the same resources.

CEproof has had a refresh too. The eagle-eyed naval architects and engineers among you may spot a nod to a Plimsoll load line mark in the upper half of the ‘e’.

The new look also coincides with a major CEproof update. Developments in the last few months include:

  • A substantial update to incorporate ISO 15085:2024, including new and involved categorisations of the working deck.
  • Multihull structural calculations from ISO 12215-7:2020, covering panels and stiffeners are now fully integrated within our structural calculator module.
  • Removal of the previous ActiveX controls, making CEproof much faster and more responsive.
  • An updated Project Management page, with clearer reporting and sign-off of assessment comments and non-conformities.
  • Additional checks for defining quick-draining cockpit openings more clearly.

We’re also developing a library of common lithium-ion battery specifications to support assessments in the context of ISO 23625.

Used by designers, installers, manufacturers, surveyors and inspectors worldwide, CEproof supports assessments and the preparation of technical files, owner’s manuals and Declarations of Conformity, saving time and keeping documentation consistent across the project.
