CE marking
HPiVS is a European Notified Body accredited by INAB to issue certificates for products being CE marked within the following scope:
- EU Recreational Craft Directive (RCD)
- EU Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
- Welding/brazing approvals
The CE mark is recognised in Europe, the UK, and many other global locations.

UKCA marking
HPiVS is accredited by UKAS as an Approved Body to issue certificates for products being UKCA marked for the following UK Regulations:
- UK Recreational Craft (Safety) Regulations SI 2017 no 737
- UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 (PE(S)R) SI 2016 no 1105

UKCA and CE marking must be backed up by mandatory documentation. This will always include a formal Declaration of Conformity made by a manufacturer or their authorised representative.

As an Approved Body and Notified Body we are also entitled to issue Post Construction Assessments.

ISO
HPiVS is an accredited Inspection Body, compliant with ISO 17020:2012.
This accreditation entitles us to act as a Competent Body under a variety of national and regional regulations.
World Sailing OSR
We are one of seven bodies officially recognised by World Sailing to carry out Offshore Special Regulations (OSR) Structural Plan Reviews.
Technical Regulation for Watercrafts Saudi Arabia
Through our collaboration with Intertek UK, Accepted Body #0071, we are authorised to issue Technical Regulation for Watercrafts certificates. Compliance enables you to apply the Saudi Quality Mark (SQM).
ABYC
As certified ABYC Standards Advisors, we use the ABYC Compliance Audit Tool to issue you with a Statement of Conformity to ABYC standards. Complying with the standards is voluntary. However, choosing to hold a Statement of Conformity to ABYC standards indicates best practice for safety and reliability for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of recreational boats has been followed.
The standards are globally recognised, making them a useful approach for manufacturers and boat owners who want to limit their liability, especially in territories where national standards are not available.
ASME
Our American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Authorised Inspectors will help you to gain ASME Accreditation. ASME accreditation is recognised in over 110 countries, enabling you to enter the international market for pressure equipment.
